What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual
Direction is a companioning of individuals on their spiritual journey.
It is a sacred time in which to pause and reflect on everyday life
experiences in relation to self, others and the divine Mystery/God.
This time enables individuals to share and explore questions about
their spiritual journey. This process is for those who are seeking
to deepen their meaning and purpose in life.

What does a Spiritual Director do?
The
spiritual director:
- Creates
an atmosphere of hospitality and safety.
- Is
an attentive listener.
- Provides
feedback.
- Shares
knowledge and resources.
- Tends
to the soul's desire through a caring, supportive, and non-judgmental
spirit.

Discern
God's Presence
Spiritual
direction is really not about being 'directed." Rather, it
is very much about being encouraged to draw closer to God, self
and others. Spiritual direction invites you into this relationship
whether you attend a church, mosque, synagogue, temple or none of
these. God seeks you where you are. Spiritual directors come in
all faiths.

Meet
with a Spiritual Director
The
privilege and responsibility of a spiritual director is to journey
with you as you deepen your relationship with God, self and others.
The journey takes place in the context of confidential one-on-one
or group sessions with your spiritual director.
Linda
has extensive training and formation and is seasoned in the art
of spiritual direction. Spiritual directors continue tending the
spiritual life by engaging in ongoing education, confidential supervision,
and also meeting regularly with a spiritual director.
You
and your spiritual director will agree on a convenient location
and time for meeting, usually once a month for an hour.
